Our intake coordinator is in charge of receiving and processing referral information. Physicians usually send referrals from offices, local hospitals, and board and care or skilled nursing facilities. Referrals may also be made by patients’ families, interested persons, or agencies.
Once the referrals are processed, a professional nurse will assess the patient within 24 to 48 hours, unless immediate care is required sooner.
